Lawn Bowls Isle of Man have recently been working hard behind the scenes to develop and grow the sport locally, but to also showcase the talent the Island has to offer. As part of this, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting an international open competition between 17th and 19th April 2026.

In addition to being able to demonstrate what the Island’s bowling scene brings, the event provides an opportunity for those seeking the chance to develop their CV towards possible Commonwealth Games selection on their doorstep! As part of this, we hope to bring some of the world’s best to the Island.

The event will take place at the Isle of Man National Sports Centre’s Indoor Bowls Hall, and will feature the singles and pairs disciplines. The schedule is as follows:

• Dedicated free practice – Friday 17th April – 16:00 until 21:00
• Singles event – Saturday 18th April – 08:30 until 21:00
• Pairs event – Sunday 19th April – 08:30 until 17:00
