LBIOM

The Squad has landed.

After a smooth ferry crossing and pleasant drive through the picturesque Welsh countryside the team had their final practice sessions on the greens of Llandrindod Wells Bowls Club before the championships commence on Saturday morning.

The greens are in great condition for the time of year and it is clear to see that the host club under the Presidency of Eddie Williams has undertaken careful preparation and meticulous planning for the event in collaboration with Bowls Europe.

Once again our thanks to our sponsors @isleofmansteampacket for their support and best of luck to our bowlers for a successful competition.

As a novel change to the flags of all nations being flown at the venue was an impressive montage of the competing nations representing Llandrindod’s own version of the Bayeux Tapestry proudly displayed above the clubhouse.
