Lawn Bowls IOM has bestowed the honour of Life Membership to its past President and long serving member of the Club, Eric Maddocks. A resident of Ramsey Eric has made the trek into Onchan for well over 20 years and has supported the Club admirably over that time even serving as President for 4 seasons. Eric is a formidable player in his own right and has many club trophies to his name including the prestigious Ruby Cup sponsored by Onchan Commissioners for the recent 40 Years Anniversary of the Association. Eric has also represented the Island internationally and was part of the gold medal winning rink at the recent British Crown Dependencies Test Series in Guernsey. The honour was granted at the A.G.M with a unanimous and overwhelming vote of thanks for his years of service and leadership he has devoted to the Club. The Members wish Eric many years of continued bowling and success.
