LAWN BOWLS ISLE OF MAN
The 2019 Atlantic Championships begin today. The next two weeks will see the Manx team face the biggest bowling nations this side of the world in six out of the eight scheduled events, across four separate venues spread over the Welsh capital. The ladies have been entered into all disciplines, whilst the men have been entered into just two. A top six finish in each respective section will earn the team a qualification spot in that event for next year’s Bowls World Championships in Australia, whilst finishing in the top three will earn a bonus playoff place for the Atlantic finals.
