To all members, we regret to advise that the planned opening of the green and official opening day have been postponed indefinitely as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Local Government restrictions mean that at present all sports facilities are to remain closed, which impacts Lawn Bowls Isle of Man. Further to this, Onchan District Commissioners informed the committee that the opening of the park itself will be delayed. We as a result will not be able to provide any further clarity on the situation and the proposed resheduling of the events until the restrictions are lifted and ODC open the doors for us. We will advise when these are to be rearranged when we are given the green light, hopefully in the near future. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe.

On a positive note, to give everyone something to look forward to, here is a sneek preview of the green, which is looking in good condition at the moment, along with the new fencing which ODC have erected. Fingers are crossed that the condition of the green only continues to improve throughout this situation.
