I am sure that members will be pleased to hear that we will be able to get some bowls in this year. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic the prospect of putting a few bowls down looked bleak. However, as time goes on and the government restrictions are relaxed the possibility of getting on the green becoming more of a reality. The committee are working hard behind the scenes and have been consulting with the IOM Sport and the Government’s Department of Education Sport & Culture to propose ways in which the sport can return. We await formal acknowledgment on our proposals. Watch this space!
