It was another good entry with 14 pairs vying for the Ramsay Pairs trophy. With the green in excellent running order and good playing conditions the standard of competition was at its best for this time in the season. With a number of fancied pairings amongst the field it was Janice Pilling and David Quirk who made the early running from Anne and Phil Watterson. However, it was a strong finish from the President / Secretary pair that that relegated Janice and David into second place by single shot to ensure that the names on the trophy for this season are Pam Makin and Win Kewley.
